Spring has finally sprung

Let me start by saying what a fantastic year it has been. We would like to say a big thank you to all our customers who bought our lightweight folding Gron e-bike and for their support on our journey in 2021, it means a lot and we hope the bike provides many years of enjoyment. In 2022 we are bringing new products and new ideas to the Gron brand. In this Spring edition we have a roundup of our news, products and events, past and new.

Gron backpack - GR-BPK-001

Our continuing focus at Gron has been on developing sustainable products like our new lifestyle backpack for when you want to carry a few items on a day out. This is made from a new light-weight water-resistant material creating a snug fit on your back, good support and plenty of pockets and more importantly, all your items stay dry. Comfort is at the heart of our new backpack with a stylish grey single colour. The lightweight backpack is now available in our online store.

Welcome to our new exclusive dealers around the country, where customers can experience a full demonstration with a comprehensive run-through of our Gron e-bike. As we travel around the country demonstrating the new folding Gron e-bike everyone loves the lightweight carbon frame, the ease of fold and the compact fold size for easy storage. We also really appreciate all the positive comments we receive. A big thanks go to our dealers for their support in demonstrating the great Gron experience to new customers at all the shows we’ve attended.

Tree Planting

Working in partnership with Tree-nation we’re working hard to make our world green again. We gift a tree to every e-bike customer for them to plant in one of our Gron forest projects around the world. We love to plant trees each tree having a 30Kg carbon offset.

Some of you have been asking about servicing a Gron. Please remember it can be done at most independent dealers around the country. Use your local independents, often they are experts offering great value and love everything bikes. We can also recommend Cranks Workshop for our customers based in the Midlands area providing excellent quality service backed up with that all-important care factor. They are experts in handling carbon fibre frames from road to mountain bikes and all taken care of in their service plan. If you need a tyre changed, repair a puncture, service your electrics or adjust your disc brakes it can be done to make sure you are ready to ride this year.

Hello Aberdeen – Gron exhibit at Love Touring Expo

The Love Touring Expo –

Love Touring Expo – Hello Aberdeen, a beautiful city for our first expo, we are very much looking forward to visiting between the 4th and 7th of November.

As autumn approaches us fast with the leaves turning a beautiful red and orange, more and more of us are enjoying exploring on our bikes and going further distances using electrically assisted bikes known as e-bike. With generous ebike grants available in Scotland there has never been a better time to try one at the show.

We are very pleased this year to be exhibiting our beautiful lightweight carbon e-bikes at the “Love Touring Expo” in the new £333 million P&J Live development. The new exhibition centre was opened in 2019, delivered by Aberdeen City Council in partnership with Henry Boot Developments, replaces the Aberdeen Exhibition Conference and Centre (AECC).

This is the perfect opportunity to come along and test ride our superb ebike, only 14kg and a 15-second fold. the Gron^eis lightweight, easy to handle and offers an amazing 50Km distance with 5 electrical assists. We have an in-show offer for all attendees with further offers throughout the show.

We would love to see you at the show to answer your questions or simply take a test ride. The Gron^eis one of the few bikes designed solely for the leisure industry with a small fold and beautiful looks you will love the superb zippy ride.

Gron Folding Electric Bike News –

With the summer in full swing and as more people discover the benefits of cycling we bring you some of our summer highlights.

It has been a great summer for cycling and as people disover the mobility advantages of our folding electric e-bike we have wasted no time in getting some cycling in and around Northampton where we are based. With the gron in stock, you might start to see our new Gron van out and about delivering Grön folding e-bikes to our customers. On our recent visit, we have stopped in Henley on the Thames, where the Regatta was in full swing, taking in the summer sun and enjoying the riverside views.

Gron Journeys

There has never been a better time to enjoy the great outdoors on an e-bike. Gron is putting together a new series of e-bike journeys that take you away to areas of natural beauty in parks and woodland trails using your new Gron folding e-bike. We bring you tracks and trails, places to visit and rides to enjoy from our new Gron Journey series. Lookout in September for the first new release, including maps, guides and a route that will be stunning to take you on your next gron adventure.

Finally Summer 2021 & More Trees Planted

We want to thank all our new customers for purchasing a gron e-bike and for their support. In buying a gron e-bike you are supporting the environment by planting a tree, which can only be a good thing for all of us today. Each tree we plant helps give a little bit back to our footprint and keeps us all healthy and happy. We appreciate it, and we will keep working hard to make sure our bike keeps you fit and healthy for years to come.

Electric Bike Trails, Roads And Hills Tested

And on that note, some of you have been asking us questions about riding the bike on the road, trails and in places that you might not always consider. We are pleased to let you know that the gron was designed with larger wheels and thicker tyres to take you on trails, roads, and up hills with ease. The carbon frame being extremely strong and flexible gives you the perfect balance off and on roads. In our latest video, you can see the team put the Gron e through its paces on different surfaces in the beautiful seven sisters country park and villages surrounding.
